to provide competitive advantage in software re-engineering and development
and to support complex projects, and is being extensively used for this purpose in many projects worldwide.
Siemens made a major investment in resources and research, in particular through contributions
of Professor Broy of the University of Munich, who received the Leibniz prize
(equivalent to the Nobel prize in Germany) for his contributions to information technology.
